2009-06-05 : Radnor Lake : Nashville, TN

Radnor Lake State Nature Area
Had a lot of time to kill in Nashville waiting for my 8 PM flight back home. Heeded several tick warnings from the locals and stopped at REI for a tick remover and spray before heading to the Park. 3 1/2 mile hike.....tick free. :)

ALCS Game 3: Tribe Wins 4-2

The old guys in the bleachers in Section 183. We were about 10 rows from John Adams beating the drum.

The flag takes up a majority of the outfield. They only did this at the first home game.

Westbrook pitches a gem and the Tribe goes up 2-1 on the Red Sox.

Saturnia Passenger List on July 7, 1938

After many years of hearing the story, who would have thought that there would be a copy available via the web. Take a look at the passenger list from the Saturnia, sailing from Naples on June 26th, 1938. It arrived at the Port of New York on July 7th, carrying Elisabetta Catallo & Amedeo Tucciarelli. If only they were still alive today to see it.
